Clinical Philosophy

No matter what brought you to counselling, I am excited to work with you towards improving your mental health and wellbeing! I believe that everyone deserves to have someone to listen non-judgementally and support them through life’s ups and downs. I hope I can provide this for you during our time together.

In my counselling practice, I advocate for creating a life worth living and believe that stopping to smell the flowers is important. Words that best describe my practice would include: warm, supportive, empathetic, accepting, insight-focused and safe. In the words of Roy T. Bennett, “Don’t wait for the right moment to start, start and make each moment right.”
